Kajika
is a company created to promote and encourage live music
in East Anglia.
We
promote events of all sizes and types from a beer festival
weekend at the local pub to a major 3 day outdoor festival,
Kajika are there to organise, assist or simply support and
promote.
Amongst
our many achievements has been the Music By The Lake
festivals of 2003 and 2004, The Big Barn Blues Festival
of 2006, the 24 hour drumming marathons in
2004,2005 and 2006, and the 'Future Music'
competitions to promote young talent in the area.
All
the events run by Kajika have supported local charities
and we have raised many thousands of pounds for organisations
such as the East Anglian Air Ambulance, Redwings Horse
Sanctuary, Heartbeat and the RNLI.
No
surprise then to hear that Kajika has gained great experience
in all aspects of event promotion such as project management,
communications, risk management and production.
But
most of all it's about having fun, and everyone in Kajika
is involved in music. We love to promote our friends like
Samboomba, the Bronsons, Debs Warren, Gina Silburn and all
local performers.
Oh,
and in case you were wondering, Kajika is a Japanese word
which means 'Singing Frog'
